Andrea Maxson

Andrea is well known across Lincolnshire and beyond as a soprano soloist and teacher of singing.  Recent solo performances have included Mozart’s Exultate jubilate, Haydn’s Kleine Orgelmesse, Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb, and Poulenc’s Gloria, Belinda in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, Mabel in Gilbert & Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance, Yum-Yum in Gilbert & Sullivan’s The Mikado.  Recent chamber music performances have included Schubert’s Der Hirt auf dem Felsen for soprano, clarinet and piano as well as solo recitals encompassing music in many different styles.  Andrea is frequently called upon to sing at weddings, and sings a wide variety of suitable and appropriate repertoire.  She is also kept busy playing the viola in her string quartet, The Cadenza String Quartet, and singing with the Divas, both of which are available for weddings, corporate functions, and all other occasions.
